The Holy Eucharist is the source and center of our life as Catholics. At every Mass, we gather as the Body of Christ to hear the Word of God, offer our prayers, and share in the saving mystery of Jesus’ death and Resurrection. Through the Liturgy of the Eucharist, we receive Jesus Christ—truly present in His Body and Blood—and renew our commitment to follow Him.

Catholics who have received their First Holy Communion are invited to receive the Eucharist at Mass, provided they are properly disposed and in a state of grace. Those who are conscious of having committed a mortal sin should first receive absolution through the Sacrament of Reconciliation before receiving Holy Communion.

Receiving the Eucharist strengthens our union with Christ and with one another as His Church. Nourished by the Body and Blood of the Lord, we are then sent forth from Mass to live our faith and proclaim the Good News in our daily lives.
