Mr. Christopher Ogaz celebrated his 100th birthday in the presence of our community at the 8:00am Mass on Tuesday April 12.

In his homily, Father Engel shared Mr. Ogaz's firm and devout faith that contributes to his health and longevity, connecting this wonderful occasion to the beautiful Gospel message from John 6:35, "I AM the bread of life, whoever comes to me will never hunger."  These are powerful words that has literally taken hold in Mr. Ogaz's and many of our faithful seniors' lives!  Amen!

Happiest of birthdays to Mr. Ogaz!  He's a great example and witness to God's mercy not just today, but for over these 100 years!  Thanks be to God!

Congratulations to Andrew Kloak for making us proud here at St Joseph Parish. Andrew, who has been a parishioner since May 2008, completed his first book Working the Glass: A Novel. It was released on Amazon earlier this month. He's a new voice and would like you to give it a read. Its received some great advance reviews and could be the best Sports Novel and Love Story of 2016.
