On Sunday June 19, 2016 during the 1:00pm Spanish Mass, Father Jonathan blessed and thanked Tomas Antonio Mier for all his years of service to Christ and our parish. Tomas served as an acolyte for 10 years at Saint Joseph Parish. He is the only son of Tomas and Carolina Mier, active members of our parish. Tomasito, as most people call him started as an altar server at the age of 7 right after his first communion. After 10 years of service he will be going off to USC to pursue a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Tomas shares, "I want to be a journalist and hope to one day be like Jorge Ramos from Univision" Tomas will keep attending Mass in Southern California and plans to become a Lector. Thank you Tomas for your selfless dedication to our parish! May God bless you abundantly and help guide you in your future endeavors.
