FIVE SIMPLE WAYS TO ENTER MORE FULLY INTO THE MASS:

Arrive 5–10 minutes early. Give yourself time to quiet your heart and prepare to encounter the Lord.

Bring your whole self. Set aside your phone. Leave the week behind. You are about to meet Christ.

Look up the readings beforehand. A few minutes with Sunday’s Gospel before you arrive can open your heart to hear it more deeply at Mass.

Join the Gathering Song and ever song. Your voice matters, even if you think you cannot sing. When we sing together, we pray together.

Notice the entrance procession. Watch the crucifix, the candle bearers, the Gospel Book carried with reverence. Let these symbols speak to you.

Respond with conviction. Your “Amen,” your “And with your spirit,” and your “Lord, have mercy” are not formalities. They are your voice, joining the voice of the whole Church.

The Mass is not something we attend. It is something we enter into — together, as one family.

CINCO FORMAS SENCILLAS DE PARTICIPAR MAS EN LA MISA:

Llega de 5 a 10 minutos antes. Date tiempo para aquietar tu corazón y prepararte para el encuentro con el Señor.

Trae contigo todo tu ser. Deja a un lado el teléfono. Deja atrás la semana. Estás a punto de encontrarte con Cristo.

Consulta las lecturas de antemano. Dedicar unos minutos al Evangelio del domingo antes de llegar puede abrir tu corazón para escucharlo con mayor profundidad durante la Misa.

Únete al canto de entrada y a cada una de las canciones. Tu voz importa, aunque creas que no sabes cantar. Cuando cantamos juntos, rezamos juntos.

Presta atención a la procesión de entrada. Observa el crucifijo, a los portadores de las velas y el Libro de los Evangelios, portado con reverencia. Deja que estos símbolos te hablen.

Responde con convicción. Tu «Amén», tu «Y con tu espíritu» y tu «Señor, ten piedad» no son meras formalidades; son tu voz uniéndose a la voz de toda la Iglesia.

La Misa no es algo a lo que simplemente asistimos; es algo en lo que entramos, juntos, como una sola familia.
