Stewardship

Time, Talent, and Treasure

Stewardship is a way of life involving one's Time, Talent and Treasure. Christians view all they have and are as gifts from God. Good stewardship is their way of saying "Thank You" to the Lord. No one can adequately express gratitude to God, but when an individual shares his/her time to listen to others, his/her talent to work with them, and his/her treasure to support and develop them, and when he/she prays for and worships with his/her brothers and sisters, he/she demonstrates Gospel Stewardship.

Stewardship Prayer: December 3, 2006

O Lord, giver of life and source of freedom, I know that all I have received is from your hand. Gracious and Loving Father, You call us to be stewards of Your abundance, the caretakers of all You have entrusted to us. Help us to always use Your gifts wisely and teach us to share them generously. Send the Holy Spirit to work through us, bringing Your message to those we serve. May our faithful stewardship bear witness to the love Jesus Christ in our lives. We pray with grateful hearts, in Jesus' name.

Amen
