Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults - Rites of Acceptance and Welcoming

We will celebrate the Rite of Acceptance into the Order of Catechumens and the Rite of Welcoming the Candidates at the 5:30 AM Liturgy on Saturday, December 1. At this rite, the catechumens (those who have not been baptized) publicly express – and the Church accepts – their intention to respond to God's call to follow the way of Christ.

Candidates, already part of the Christian community through Baptism, are formally welcomed into the life of the community as they seek to complete their Christian initiation through the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.

Please join us at the 5:30 AM Liturgy on Saturday, December 1, as we welcome these new members into our community. Please continue to pray for our inquirers, Wendy Tobagus, and candidates, Danette Garcia, Ismael Bettencourt and Lisa Garcia, as they prepare for this next step in the RCIA journey. --
