At the 8:30 AM Liturgy this weekend, we celebrate the Call to Continuing Conversion of Candidates. Candidates, already part of the Christian community through baptism, are seeking to complete their Christian initiation through the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. In this rite, we recognize their desire to participate more fully in the sacramental life of the Church as they begin the final period of preparation before their full initiation at the Easter Vigil.

Please pray for our candidates Ismael Bettencourt, Danette Garcia, and Lisa Garcia and our (un-baptized) catechumen Wendy Tobagus, that they may continue to heed God's call wherever it may take them. Also, please pray for our RCIA sponsors – Ramon, Kara, Oscar, and Debbie – that they may continue to be examples of Christ's love and friendship.

The next RCIA rite will be the Penitential Rite, which we will celebrate at the 11:30 a.m. liturgy on Sunday, February 17. Please join us to support and pray for our candidates as they prepare to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time.
