The Annual Diocesan Appeal (ADA) Campaign “Secure the Vision,” is the 2008 annual fund-raising drive for the Diocese of San Jose. Each year, the parishes and missions of our local Church take part in the Appeal to raise funds for the support of the centralized services, ministries, activities and programs of the Diocese.

This year’s ADA theme of “Secure the Vision” reflects the challenge that we are all called to be disciples of Christ. we are called to be light in a dark world. Together, we do this by ensuring the Church, its clergy, religion and laity are equipped to lead God’s people and to minister to those in need. Our just-completed and successful endowment and capital campaign has positioned the Diocese of San Jose to address many of the long-range plans of our local Church. However, it is this annual appeal that funds day-to-day services that the parishes and schools rely on for support as they minister to the people of the Santa Clara Valley.

Next weekend, January 12 & 13 is our Appeal Sunday.

Our Pledge Sunday is on January 19 & 20, 2008. Please bring your pledges to the 2008 “Secure the Vision” Annual Diocesan Appeal, and drop it in the collection basket. Thank you.
