Peace & Justice Opportunities: Homelessness and Poverty March

San Jose – Monday, August 27, 2007

All are invited to join in a large march in downtown San Jose. We will call on Congress and the Federal government to take action to end homelessness and poverty in America. The Federal Government has the authority and the power to do so if we the people create the political will to make it happen. A partial list of the many endorsers are: CHAM, Affordable Housing Network, Sacred Heart Community Services, Catholic Charities, San Jose Catholic Diocese, and Santa Clara County Collaborative on Affordable Housing and Homelessness. The schedule:
4:00pm Gather in front of the County Building 70 W. Hedding St
4:30pm Begin Marching
4:45pm Congresswoman Zoe Office, 635 N. First St.
5:30pm Rally and Cultural San Jose city Hall 200 E. Santa Clara St.
