Principals's Notes November 19, 2006

The 6th graders returned from their week at Science Camp, happy and in touch with the Environment. Several parishioners gave me donations that I used as scholarships for some of our students, so that the entire class could truly learn from and enjoy this outdoor education experience. I am so very grateful for the generosity of the parish each month at the 2nd collection. I have just competed the purchase of new Social Studies books which keeps our instructional materials current and in alignment with state standards as well as Diocesan expectations.

The 4th grade class invites parishioners to join us at our Thanksgiving Mass on Nov. 22nd @ 9:00AM in the auditorium. The student body will be collecting canned and non-perishable items for the Offertory Procession. The food will be donated to the Mt. View Community Services Agency right after Mass. Living out the Corporal Works of Mercy is part of our Religion curriculum, and our families are steady supporters of the CSA. We have so much for which to be grateful. Happy Thanksgiving!!
