Principal's Notes November 12, 2006

We are grateful for the parish support of our fall Open House. Many people came to the school after the parish Jubilee Mass to see our art, music, and choir presentations, meet our staff and learn about our curriculum. We were delighted to have Bishop McGrath visit with us at the school, greeting prospective and current families. He truly loves St. Joseph. Our PTG is selling Advent Wreaths ($5.00) and/or Candles ($5.00/set of 4). If you are interested, please call Mrs. Sturgeon (408) 245-5470.

I continue to acknowledge our new altar servers as they begin their ministry at church and at school. Thank you to Kathleen Heckler Johnson who repaired and laundered all of our server albs, and put the vestamentary in great shape.

The parish Giving Tree will be on the altar on Sat. Nov. 18th. Sharon Fischenich will again coordinate with the St. Vincent de Paul Society to make this a successful gift-giving opportunity. Our students have given Fr. Oscar $300.00 for the parish, and $300.00 for the Parish Dinner for the Homeless.
